International Language Center of Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic)
Persian Language Department is one of the departments which intends to help foreign students learn Persian Language through the latest methods in teaching and also make them familiar with the Iranian culture and make them ready for participating in their Academic courses at university.
- Persian Language course
This Course has got three levels; Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced in which students will get acquainted with Receptive Skills (Reading & Listening) and Productive Skills (Speaking & Writing). In all levels vocabulary and grammar are fully integrated.
- Levels are based on The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability. It organizes language proficiency in six levels, A1 to C2, which can be regrouped into three broad levels: Basic User, Independent User and Proficient User, and that can be further subdivided according to the needs of the local context. The levels are defined through ‘can-do’ descriptors. This makes it easy for anyone involved in language teaching and testing, such as teachers or learners, to see the level of different qualifications.
